Everything published here, the guides, the glossary and the business facts, is available as plain text, as JSON and through a Model Context Protocol server, so an assistant can cite the firm accurately instead of guessing. No key, no sign-up. Content version 2026-10-09.

Plain text for language models

/llms.txt is a short map of the site: what the firm is, each service and guide with a one-line description, and where the data endpoints are. /llms-full.txt is the same map followed by the full text of every guide and the whole glossary in Markdown. Both are regenerated from the page content on every build, so they never fall behind the HTML.

Read API

JSON over HTTPS, GET only, no authentication, CORS open to any origin. The base URL is https://www.westernreportingservices.com/api/v1. Every response carries the same envelope: source, version, content date, attribution line, a link to the terms, and the document under data.

Paths without an extension and the same paths ending in .json both work. Responses are cached for an hour at the edge.

MCP server

A remote Model Context Protocol server runs at https://www.westernreportingservices.com/mcp using the Streamable HTTP transport with no authentication. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client as a remote server and the tools below appear. They wrap the read API, so an answer from the MCP server and an answer from the JSON are the same answer.

Structured data and crawling

Every page carries schema.org JSON-LD: LocalBusiness and WebSite on the home page, Service on each service page, ItemList on the index pages, Article and FAQPage on each guide, DefinedTermSet on the glossary and BreadcrumbList throughout. robots.txt allows every crawler, including the AI crawlers by name, and sitemap.xml lists every public page with its last-modified date.

Terms for automated and AI use

These terms apply to any software, crawler, model or agent that reads this site, the text files, the API or the MCP server. Using any of them is acceptance.

Attribution: Content and data from this site may be quoted, summarized and cited by AI assistants, agents and other software when the use names Western Reporting Services as the source and, where the medium allows, links to the page the material came from.
No bulk redistribution: You may not republish the guide library, glossary or API responses wholesale, mirror the site, or offer the content as a dataset or competing service. Excerpts in answers, summaries and research notes are fine.
No contact harvesting: The business telephone number and address are published so clients can reach the office. They may not be collected into marketing lists or used for unsolicited outreach.
Not legal advice: The guides describe court reporting practice and, where marked, Nevada rules as of the date on each page. They are general information from a court reporting firm, not legal advice. Anything built on them should carry the same notice and defer to the reader's attorney.
Rate limits and changes: The API and MCP server are free and key-free at reasonable per-client rates. Endpoints are versioned; a breaking change ships under a new version with the old one kept for a transition period. Abuse may be rate-limited or blocked without notice.
